Have you ever wanted to get in to circuit racing? Do you think you’ll need to sell you left kidney to afford it? Well, maybe it’s time to have a look at Formula Vee; an amazing, relatively cheap, and very approachable way to get yourself in to some real racing action. Formula Vee’s are single seater, open wheel racers that run a 4 cylinder, horizontally opposed engine, running through a 4 speed manual gearbox. Despite not running huge horsepower, these little pocket racers weigh almost nothing so can get up to some butt clenching speeds. Join me as I follow along with the Lockett Family Racing Team to find out more about the sport…..and how it’s a lot more affordable than you might think!
